The war in Ukraine has taken many lives and destroyed countless buildings: homes, schools, hospitals. Among them was Primary School No. 14 "Bilochka" ("Squirrel"), of which little remains but the bare frames of children's beds, and some broken plates half-buried in ash.  Music recorded at a Catholic mass in Lviv, Ukraine.

The war in Ukraine took a sudden turn when separatist rebels seized Donetsk International Airport. Within hours, Ukrainian forces responded on the air and in the ground, starting a long, bloody struggle for the now-destroyed airport that still drags on. Filmed over several chaotic hours from the front lines during that fateful day. Part of the On the Ground Documentaries project.

Not a single building has avoided the ravages of shelling and gunfire Pisky, Ukraine, a mostly abandoned village on the front line of the conflict between Ukrainian forces (who hold the town) and pro-Russian separatists just a few hundred meters away. This film provides a glimpse of the volunteer civilian-soldiers fighting with Ukraine's controversial Right Sector battalion.
